Chan Hsu - About Me

I’m a second-year doctoral student in the Department of Information Management at National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU), advised by Prof. Yihuang Kang. Before joining the PhD program, I received my M.S. in Information Systems from the same department in 2022.

• Jun ‘25: Our papers “Towards Simulating Social Influence Dynamics with LLM-based Multi-agents” and “LLM-based Agents for Automated Confounder Discovery and Subgroup Analysis in Causal Inference” were accepted by the IEEE IRI and co-located AIHC workshop.
• Nov ‘24: Our paper “CodEv: An Automated Grading Framework Leveraging Large Language Models for Consistent and Constructive Feedback” was accepted by the WLLFM workshop in BigData 2024.

• Jun ‘24: Our paper “Understanding eGFR Trajectories and Kidney Function Decline via Large Multimodal Models” was accepted by the Big Data in Healthcare workshop.
• May ‘24: Our papers “Causal Rule Forest: Toward Interpretable and Precise Treatment Effect Estimation” and “Subgroup analysis via Model-based Rule Forest” were accepted by the IEEE IRI and the IEEE AIHC workshop.
